英国皇家化学会旗舰期刊 Chemical Science 刚刚宣布，利物浦大学 Andrew Cooper 教授接替哈佛大学 Daniel Nocera 教授，成为 Chemical Science 的新任主编（Editor-in-Chief）。

利物浦大学

安德鲁·库柏（Andrew Cooper）教授是英国皇家学会院士，利物浦大学材料中心主任，材料创新工厂学术主任。他是英国材料研究领域的领军人物，被汤森路透公司列入“全球最杰出 100 位材料学家”、“全球最杰出 100 位化学家”。曾任利物浦大学化学系主任、理学院院长和利物浦大学校董。

Andrew Cooper 教授与联合利华（Uniliver）、英国石油（BP）、艾克森石油 （Exxon）等世界五百强企业建立了联合实验室。先后领导筹建了利物浦大学材料中心（Centre for Materials Discovery）和利物浦大学材料创新工厂 （Materials Innovation Factory），参与筹建了斯蒂芬森可再生能源研究所 （Stephenson Institute for Renewable Energy）。

先后获得皇家学会沃尔夫森研究奖（Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award）以及英国皇家化学会 Corday-Morgan Prize 等具有极高学术声望的大奖。

We made it gold open access because we don t want anyone to be excluded from reading the best in new chemistry research.

We decided to pay all of the article processing charges (APCs) ourselves so there’s nothing to prevent authors from getting great work in front of our global readership.
